FAQS ON SHIPPING
PACKING
Paintings
The pieces will be meticulously packed for transportation. Using at least 4 layers of acid-free paper to wrap the front and back of the painting, before it is bubble-wrapped and with cardboard protectors for each corner, and boxed.
Sculptures
Depending on size and structure, they are held securely in a box (filled either with foam bubbles or cube, fabric or cotton) to minimise movement. I will transport larger 2-D pieces (with extensions) to your location in Singapore.
A e-document on How to Care for your Art Piece will be sent to all buyers, along with a Certificate of Original Artwork signed by the artist.
SINGAPORE BUYERS
You are welcome to collect your artwork from my studio located in the West of Singapore. You can also arrange for delivery for larger pieces from services such as experienced fine art movers, Rentalorry. Buyers bear the cost of delivery.
INTERNATIONAL BUYERS
I use a variety of reliable fine art shippers such as DHL Express, Lotus, Crown Fine Art, HeluTrans. The artwork/artworks are also subjected to custom fees and tax as well as insurance for the buyer shipping to different territories – and depending on the artwork's value and weight.
Important:
DHL Express – you cannot send 'Antiques, works of art and fine art with a single value over £5,000'.
Fedex – shipping artwork that has a lower maximum declared value and limit of liability of no greater than $1,000.
TNT – allows the shipping of art, however, it could be classified as a restricted item, depending on the value.
